Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

This policy explains how Synchronoid ("Synchronoid", "we", "us") handles personal data. Synchronoid is registered in the European Union and operates the Synchronoid data pipeline service (the "Service") and the website at synchronoid.com. Questions can be sent to privacy@synchronoid.com or through our contact form.

1. Two roles

For personal data about visitors, prospects and account holders, we are the controller. For personal data that you process with the Service, such as records in your pipelines, we are a processor acting on your instructions under our Data Processing Agreement. This policy covers the first role.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, work email, company, role and workspace settings.
  • Request data: information you give us in beta access, demo and contact forms.
  • Usage data: actions in the control room, pages viewed, device and browser type, IP address and approximate location.
  • Billing data: invoicing details. Card data is handled by our payment processor and not stored by us.
  • Support data: messages and attachments you send to us.
  • Cookies: described in our Cookie Policy.

3. Why we use data and our legal bases

  • To provide and secure the Service (performance of a contract).
  • To respond to requests and provide support (contract or legitimate interests).
  • To improve the product and to measure how the site is used (legitimate interests, or consent where required).
  • To send service notices and, with your consent or where permitted, product updates.
  • To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting rules.

4. Sharing

We share personal data only with subprocessors that help us run the Service, listed on our security page, with professional advisers under confidentiality, and with authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.

5. International transfers

Customer workspaces are hosted in the region you choose: EU (Frankfurt) or US (Virginia). Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses and additional safeguards.

6. Retention

We keep account data while your account is active and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless the law requires longer. Contact form requests are kept for up to 24 months. Billing records are kept as long as accounting law requires. Customer data in workspaces is deleted according to the DPA.

7. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time. Write to privacy@synchronoid.com. We respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and regular testing. Read more on our security page. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify you of breaches as required by law.

9. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. If changes are significant, we will notify account holders by email or in the control room before they take effect.

11. Contact

Email privacy@synchronoid.com or use the contact form.
