ETL & ELT

Move and model data without the 3 a.m. pages

Extract from APIs, databases and files, load into your warehouse, and transform with the tools you already use. Synchronoid keeps every step safe to re-run and every run safe to resume.

The problem

Scheduled scripts break quietly

Most ETL starts as a few scripts and a scheduler. Then a source changes a field, an API throttles you, or a worker restarts halfway through a load. You find out when a dashboard looks wrong.

Fixing it means guessing which rows were written, deleting some by hand and running the job again, hoping nothing is duplicated.

Our approach

Durable runs and safe re-runs

Every step in Synchronoid is idempotent: running it twice never duplicates or corrupts data. Runs are durable, so if a worker dies the run resumes from the last finished step.

Raw payloads are stored untouched, so you can replay a transformation months later without calling the source again.

What you get

Pipelines you can leave alone

Replay-safe steps

Re-run any step or whole run from the control room or with syn runs replay. No duplicates, no manual cleanup.

Smart retries

Automatic retries with backoff and limits. A source that keeps failing is paused and an operator is alerted.

Shared rate budgets

Connectors share a per-source request budget, so many pipelines never exceed a provider's quota together.

Raw, staged, published

Keep untouched payloads, typed facts and merged current records as separate layers you can query.

Warehouse-ready

Load into PostgreSQL, Snowflake, BigQuery and more, and run dbt models after each load.

One place to watch

Runs, assets, lineage and alerts live in a single control room instead of five dashboards.

How it looks

An extract-and-load pipeline in a few lines

Describe the source, write the small transformation, and declare when it should run. Retries, rate limits and storage layers come from the platform.

  • Backfills for historical ranges with syn backfill
  • Schedules and sensors for time-based and event-based runs
  • Steps pass references to stored data, so runs stay light

“We used to keep a spreadsheet of which nightly jobs needed a manual re-run. After moving our order and carrier feeds to Synchronoid, that spreadsheet is gone. A restart no longer means a cleanup.”
